The Queue

Synopsis:

The Queue is a contemporary Lebanese play that places a group of people in a seemingly endless line, waiting for something they do not even know. The queue becomes a metaphor for a trapped society: citizens torn between dreams of emigration, daily struggles, and the oppression of authority. Shifting between humor and tragedy, dark comedy and despair, the play reveals characters longing for a better future, only to collide with eternal waiting.

الطابور

ملخص:

الطابور مسرحية معاصرة باللهجة اللبنانية، تضع مجموعة من الناس في صفّ انتظار طويل لا يعرفون نهايته. يتحوّل الطابور إلى صورة عن مجتمع محاصر: مواطنون عالقون بين أحلام الهجرة وهموم العيش وقمع السلطة. بين السخرية والجدّ، الكوميديا السوداء والخيبة، تتكشف قصص شخصيات تبحث عن مستقبل أفضل لكنها تصطدم بالانتظار الأبدي.
