The August 4th explosion brought us to our knees when our facility incurred severe damage. Nevertheless, we are offering immediate relief to the people of Lebanon through a powerful grassroots initiative targeting the rebuilding of people’s homes and lives. 

The Three Components of our Initiative

Healing from Trauma

• Assessing the mental damages through the contracting of psychologists

• Assessing the physical damages of people’s homes through contracting architects

• Working together with mentors to assess the mental and physical costs of returning home

Empowerment

• Organizing fundraising training for individuals and groups by seasoned philanthropists 

• Instilling a sense of dignity and agency by supporting self-driven fundraising efforts

• Minimizing the potential for corruption, and increasing economic flow

Social Circle Support

• Supporting individuals and groups through working as a community to rebuild their homes

• Growing and strengthening the support circle through outreach, networking and sharing

• Fostering unity and kindness among the people of Lebanon

House of Wisdom Center is a Lebanese registered NGO (#1117), focused on raising consciousness through wellness, education, and fund raising initiatives that have supported multiple needs. House of Wisdom Center has no political or religious affiliations. 

It is only through sharing that we can create a better life for ourselves and for others.
