Retrospectives are very well known in the agile world especially in Scrum and Kanban.
Agile teams rely on retrospectives as a mechanism for continuous improvements.
Retrospectives have proved to be great tools for process improvement and team building for agile and non-agile teams as well.
Workshop Purpose:
In this one day training you will learn how retrospectives can help all teams no matter which methodology they are using to improve their process, their, their team work and their output!
At the end of the workshop attendees will get a certificate of attendance, would have tried the retrospectives themselves or with their colleagues if they are attending as teams and will have got a plan of action for the most important improvements to do when coming back to work.
Whether you are using agile or not, have scrum teams or not, mastering the art of retrospectives will allow your teams to learn from the mistakes of the past and improve for the future.
Workshop Content:
Attendees of this workshop will be exposed to different kind of retrospectives, will have an over view of the essential agile principles and scrum values and will learn how to benefit from scrum values and retrospective techniques to improve whatever process they are using.
In addition, attendees will explore the different team stages, the role of the team leader in each stage and will be able to categorize in which stage is their team.
Finally, all attendees will experience the heart beat retrospective and will get a plan of what needs to be improved in their team when going back to their companies.

- Company managers who would like to understand how retrospectives and scrum values can be incorporated even if you are not using Scrum.

- 9:00- 9:15 am: Breakfast.
- 9:15 - 11 am: Session 1.
- 11 - 11:15 am: Coffee Break.
- 11:15 - 1 pm: Session 2
- 1 - 2 pm: Lunch Break.
- 2 pm - 3:45 pm: Session 3.
- 3:45 - 4 pm: Coffee break.
- 4 - 6 pm: Session 4.

About The Trainer:
Joanna Khoury is an experienced Agile and Scrum professional, coach and trainer with extensive experience in the software industry.
Majored in computer science, and holds an executive MBA degree.
