Firas Andari is a Lebanese vocalist, oud player, and composer specializing in the Classical Maqam music of the Levant.

Born in Lebanon in 1997, he began singing at the age of six and later studied muwashahat under Dr. Hayyaf Yassin. He continued his professional training at the Antonine University with renowned oud player and researcher Mustafa Said.

Firas performs regularly in Beirut and internationally, presenting traditional repertoire alongside original compositions.

He was a participant in OneBeat Lebanon 2021 and appeared at the Beirut Chants Festival for 4 consecutive years, from 2022.

He won an AFAC grant for music in 2022 for the production of his music album, which is still under development.

Recently, he participated in “The Voice” program 2025 on MBC, where he sang a classical “Dawr” from the nineteenth century to shed light on the music he specializes in and share it with the younger generation. He was accepted and advanced to the Battles stage.

As a researcher, he wrote, musically directed, and presented "Maqam wa Maqal” produced by the "Arab Thought Foundation" 

As an educator, Andari has taught music in various programs and organizations, such as the non-profit “Action for Hope,” where he led vocal and oud workshops for underserved youth in the Bekaa Valley (2018-2021).

His passion for classical Arabic music led Andari to work as an in-house recording engineer, live technician, and repairer of shellac vinyl recordings at the Foundation for Arab Music Archiving & Research (AMAR) from 2019 to 2020, where he absorbed a tremendous classical Arabic repertoire.
