The Lebanese Band Association for the Promotion of Music (LeBAM)
A non-profit making NGO established in March 2008 to promote the development and dissemination of music in Lebanon as a tool for educational and social development, through the free teaching of wind and percussion instruments to youth and organizing them in community based harmonic bands and other ensembles, using freely donated instruments.
LeBAM had to stop all its teaching activities in 2019 due to Covid 19 pandemic and the financial breakdown. It has revived its performance activities through its 37 members LeBAM National Wind Symphony. It hopes to revive its teaching activities for 2023-2024, funds permitting.
